Conceived in 2004 and established in 2009, the Centre for Research and Development is registered in the United Republic of Tanzania. CEREDEV is built on a strong, three-decade foundation of Research, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Capacity Building and Development consultancy in Africa. We know this Continent, its resources, prospects, people, talent, resilience and friendship.
We set out with a view to be the leading agency in providing the best consultancy services in the diverse needs of Eastern and Southern Africa. We have learnt our lessons. It’s not about us. Our vision is ensuring we provide solutions and linkages to the clients dreams, plans and prospects; tap into the best globally available resources and provide linkages.
We shall enable individuals; groups, organizations and companies in Africa attain their best and compete favorably with the rest through sharing lessons and evidence-based knowledge.
Our clients, working colleagues, partners in government, civil society organizations, UN systems agencies, communities, schools and homes have given us critical lessons in what works, what doesn’t and what needs to be flagged. It’s been a decade of working and learning from young people; hope and resilience with HIV clients and care and treatment partners; and workers in health and social systems strengthening. We have worked with incredible innovators, entrepreneurs, street and community smart and we have lessons worth sharing from pupils, students and their teachers as well as parents, guardians, heroes and heroines.
